She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Robert Wood (Valerie) and Beth Ann Smolinski (Scott); and her siblings, Clifford Burkmier (Corby) and Brenda Gonzalez (Ed).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, IL 60475). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery South Dixie (1393 Elizabeth St, Crete, IL 60417).
