It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stanley Eugene Thompson of Crete, Illinois, who passed away on May 11, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his significant other Rosalee Rae Thompson; his parents, Ralph Thompson and Jean Thompson; his brother Charlie; his cousin Billy; his sons, David Thompson (Aigars Placitis) of Chicago, IL and Ray Thompson (Julie Poulos) of Wheaton, IL; his brothers, Jim Thompson (Beverly) of Sauk Village, IL and Charles Thompson (Sheila) of Park Forest, IL; and his sister-in-law Sharon Kniola of Valparaiso, IN. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
