She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar William McEntire and Elpha Mae Davis McEntire; her husband Jim Avey; her siblings, James McEntire and Leveda Manning; and her children, Justin Owen Avey and Staria Lianne Lang.
She is survived by: her children, Joan Avey (late Justin), Valinda Tyson (John), Greg Avey and Theresa Link (Steve); and her sister-in-law Bobbie Huddleston. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
