He was predeceased by: his parent Nina B. Dorchinez (Des Voignes); and his sister Sue Easley. He is survived by: his wife Donna Thompson of Creve Coeur; his children, Billie Jo Poynter (Aaron) of Florida, Mark Thompson (Caryle) of Washington and Alicia Stringer (Joshua) of Pekin; and his siblings, Danny Thompson (Mary) of Princeton, Illinois, Beth Carter of Benton, Illinois, Mike Garrett (Julie) of Benton, Illinois, Toni Dorchinez of Benton, Illinois, Angelique Trelli (Fred) of Fort Myers, Florida, Jay Thompson of California and B. J. Dorchinez (Ellie) of Fort Myers, Florida.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
