She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Ellis and Agnes Ellis; and her siblings, Betty Davis (Dave), Shirley Kimmel (Harold), Roy Ellis (Jackie) and Agnes June Ellis.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Cox; her siblings, Bill Ellis (Ann) and Sue Basham (Jody); her children, Paula Cox, Sonya Wolfe (Leonard), Larry Cox Jr. and Brad Cox (Jocelyn); and her grandchildren, Debra Cox, Larry Cox (Naydean), Josh Cox (Holly), Sean Cox (Elizabeth), Willow Cox and Autumn Cox.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Roberts and Cook Funeral Service (108 W Main St, Crossville, IL 62827). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Carol's memory may be made to one of the following organizations, Salvation Army, Shriners or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and will be accepted at Roberts and Cook Funeral Service who has been entrusted with the arrangements.
