He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Sigmund and Louise Sigmund (Moser); his wife Carolyn Kraus; and his son Wayne. He is survived by: his children, Dave (Patricia), Larry (Jean Ann), Gregg (Jeanne), Nancy Palmer (Thom) and Laura Birr (Dan); his grandchildren, Mike (Kemery), Mandy Peterson (John), Nick (Angela), Shana Hayes (Matt), Jake, Chris (Sonja), Danny (Shannon), Liz Womble (Jon), Jessica Clancy (Bobby), Brittany Davies (Tobin), Ryan Palmer, Melissa Cole (Josh) and Freddie Birr (Gaby); his great grandchildren, Riley, Benjamin, Josie, Kai, Marley, Eloise, Eileen, Barrett, Myles, Graham, Connor, Charlotte, Georgia, Archer and August; his nephews, Keith, Kenneth and Craig Kraus (Yuko); his niece Karen Rohder (Jim); and his caregiver Hilda Nkhuwa.
