David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew David will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Goss and Betty Goss (Soule). He is survived by: his wife Linda Goss; his sons, James Dietz (Michelle), Bill Dietz (Krista) and Dustin Dietz (Jessica); his grandchildren, JT, Charlie, Dakota, Kaden and Allison; and his siblings, Rollie Goss (Beth) and Cindy Johnson.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the DeFiore Funeral Home (10763 Dundee-Huntley Rd, Huntley, IL 60142).
