Dean Grove Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dean Grove of Crystal Lake, Illinois, who passed away on October 25, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Merwin Grove and Nina Grove; his wife Martha McNally; and his siblings, Ronald and Donna.
He is survived by: his children, David Grove, Joanne Walsh (Kevin), Sarah Draftz (Jeremy) and William Grove (Kathleen); and his grandchildren, Taylor, Travis, Caitlin, Nathan, Ashley, Madeline, Ellie and Gavin.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 4:30 PM at the Grand Oaks Recreation Center (1401 IL-176, Crystal Lake, IL 60014). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dean's name to The Trevor Project or a charity of your choice.
