As George departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved George. Though George may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Elliott and Williamina Elliott (Halliday); and his wife Nancy. He is survived by: his sons, Graeme Elliott and David Elliott; his stepsons, Robert Pitchford (Jennifer) and Matthew Pitchford (Debbie); his granddaughter Amanda; his great grandchild Walter; and his siblings, John Elliott, Marjory Bruce and Catherine Thompson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory (419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
