He was predeceased by: his wife Mary McHale; his mother Marie Larsen; his daughter Christine Larsen; his siblings, Arnold, Ingrid Grybash, Gerda Gustafson and Laura Petersen; his parents-in-law, James McHale and Marie McHale; and his siblings-in-law, Helen Donahue, Helen "Sparky" McHale, Mary Alice McHale, Patricia McHale, JoAnn Lavin, Bob Grybash, Chuck Petersen, James McHale, Owen "Gene" McHale, Jake McHale, John "Scoops" Lavin and James "Jiggs" Donahue.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas (Julie) and Mary Jo Kerber; his grandchildren, Erik Gilly (Samantha) and Mackenzie Kerber; his great grandchildren, Liam Gilly and Luke Gilly; and his sister-in-law Bernadette McHale.
