He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Surch and Elaine Surch (Foondel). He is survived by: his wife Pamela Surch; his children, Emily Akin (Surch) of McHenry and Jacob Surch (Abigail) of Appleton, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Teagan Jo Akin and Theodore William Surch; and his siblings, Denise (Jeff Wynegar), Geoffrey Surch (Jeanne), Brian Surch (Linda) and Joseph Surch (Leslie). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
