He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. and Mary A. Shimp (Shomin); and his wife Cheryl Shimp. He is survived by: his daughters, Emily Shimp and Stacie Romines; his grandchildren, Ashley, Joyce, Jeffery and Ash; his great grandchild Christopher; and his siblings, Mary Kay Vassau (late Donald) and Bill Shimp (Jane).
