He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Georgy and Barbara Georgy; and his brother Michael Georgy. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn M.; his children, John Paul Georgy (Abigail) of Crystal Lake, IL, Steven Joseph Georgy (Kristin) of Crystal Lake, IL and Laura Anne Moore (Nathan) of Boulder, CO; his grandchildren, Jake Michael, Logan Ann, Luke Paul Georgy, Reagan Therese, Olivia Susan Georgy and Charles Hill Moore; his sisters, Patricia Poettker (Duane) and Agnes Strieker (Chuck); and his sister-in-law Tina Georgy. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, extended family.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davenport Family Funeral Homes and Crematory (419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014). A Mass will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Thomas the Apostle Church (451 W Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014).
