Richard G. Rakovan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 16, 2022, at the age of 83, Richard G. Rakovan (Crystal Lake, Illinois), born in Elyria, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents-in-law, Leonard and Margaret Janicke; and his son-in-law Nathanial F. Davis. He is survived by: his wife Cyndie Ann Rakovan (Janicke); his brother Larry Rakovan; his children, John Rakovan (Monica Tsang Rakovan), Susan Davis, Tim Rakovan (Martha Woods) and Nancy Thompson; and his grandchildren, Molly, Maggie Davis, Sophia Rakovan, Abby and Charlotte Thompson. He is also survived by his family and so many friends.
In lieu of flowers we are asking that people give to a cause that was very close to Dick's heart; a GoFundMe fundraiser has been setup at https://gofund.me (Clean drinking water for Sri Lankan Village).
