He was predeceased by: his father August Stoddard; and his brother Robert Stoddard. He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his brother Charles Stoddard; his nieces and nephews, Sarah, Heather, Brandon, James, Caitlain, Nate, Allie, Claire and Maddie; his godson Lukas George; and his children, Attn, Rocky Point and Tampa.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Richard's name can be made to, Helping Paws, 2500 Harding Lane, Woodstock, IL 60098 or to Shriners Hospitals for Children, Attn: Office of Development, 2900 N. Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
