He was predeceased by: his wife Rosalie Lawrence Hartnett; his parents, Charles Jerome Hartnett and Evelyn Reta Hartnett (O'Connor); and his siblings, Evelyn Marie and Charles Jerome, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Evelyn Marie and Patrick Robert Hartnett; his sister-in-law Bonnie Hartnett; his nieces and nephews, Jerry (Shelly), Robert, Evelyn, Joseph (Laurie) and John (Amy); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Katie (Austen Clark), Jack, Will, C. Will, Maggie, Owen, Ellie, Gavin and Abby; and also Cal Clark.
