It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Herden of Crystal Lake, Illinois, born in Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Herden; her parents, Charles Duffey and Aileen Duffey (Arne); and her brother Brian Duffey. She is survived by: her daughters, Kelly Herden (Walter Buss) and Colleen Kiolbassa (Scott); her grandchildren, Nicholas Kiolbassa, Luke Kiolbassa and Makenzie Buss; her brothers, Greg Duffey (Elvira), Scott Duffey (Monica) and Dennis Duffey (Pamela); and her siblings' children, Lindsey Bond (Benjamin), Nichole Duffey, Kristine Erickson (Reed), Nelson Gord (Sara), Nicholas Gord (Marina), Neal Duffey, Brian Duffey and Tim Duffey.
