He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Lehner and Ann Lehner (Morrison); his wife Gail Dipple; his daughters, Colleen Tomberlin (Mike) of Crystal Lake, Susan Lehner (Brian Graves) of Crystal Lake and Donna Sudbrook (Bill) of Crystal Lake; his grandchildren, Mick (Katie), Matthew, Erin Tomberlin, Bradley, Allison Graves, Teagan, Will and Lizzy Sudbrook; his siblings, Joan Weber, Eileen Pionke, Ed Lehner (Sue), John Lehner (Lena) and Marian Wolf (Al); and his sister-in-law Dorothy Dipple. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Tom's name can be made to St. Thomas the Apostle Church.
