He was predeceased by: his wife Janet D. Butkus; his son-in-law Eric Lemke; and his parents, Alfred Butkus and Anne Butkus. He is survived by: his daughter Nancy Lemke; and his grandsons, Dylan and Chase Lemke. He is also survived by his family, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Davenport Family Funeral Homes and Crematory – Crystal Lake (419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
