He is survived by: his children, Ruth Ann Schoof (Andy) of Cuba, IL and Mark Beatty (Jenny) of Lewistown, IL; his grandchildren, Austen Schoof (Brittany), Zach Zimmerman and Zoe Zimmerman; and his son Noah Beatty.

Memorials may be made to the Clayberg Nursing Home in Cuba, IL.
