With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lila Hayden of Cuba, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 24, 2026 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Lila farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lila is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Ray and Edith Seaman Ray; her son Jimmy Fleming; and her siblings, Ivan Ray, Cleo Ray, Burford Ray, Arnold Ray, Arthur Ray and Bealugh Blackbil.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Fleming of Manito, IL and Nancy Himmelrick of Havana, IL. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.
