It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myra Gore Holderfield (Cypress, Illinois), born in Dongola, Illinois, who passed away on August 14, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William J. Penrod and Roxie B. Penrod (Johnson); her former life partner Gerald S. Gore; her husband John D. Holderfield; her son-in-law Curtis Hennesy; her brother Van; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Penrod and Bob Unland.

She is survived by : her daughters, Denise Wasuleski (Greg) of Dongola and Donna S. Hennesy of Jonesboro; and her sister Ruth Ann Regennitter (Vern) of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; several great and great-great grandchildren, her step-children as well as extended family and many dear friends.
