He was predeceased by : his parents, James Ray Parr and Shirley Elaine Parr (Crowe). He is survived by : his children, Jeremy R. Parr and Amy L.; his grandchildren, Ambria Parr, Joshua, Matthew and Iris Carpenter; and his siblings, Donald Keith Parr of Cypress and Joy Elaine. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Memorials may be made to Cypress Baptist Church or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
