We are sad to announce that, on February 1, 2026, at the age of 47, James David Cross of Dahlgren, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father David Cross; and his grandparents, Wayne, Estelle Cross and Cecil Clark. He is survived by: his mother Debbie Cross (Clark) of Dahlgren; his sister Tonya Cross (Kaleb Braden) of Dahlgren; his son Cody Barnett (Kendra Brown) of Thackeray, IL; his grandchildren, Lane, Creo and Chloe Barnett; his grandmother Brenda Clark of Arkansas; his niece Destiny Braden of Dahlgren; and his nephew Jacob Braden of Dahlgren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gholson Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
