He was predeceased by: his parents, Myrtle Chriss and Paul Chriss; his brother Sam Chriss (Velva); and his wife Marjorie Chriss (Knorr). He is survived by: his children, Calvin Chriss (Sue) of Pearl City, Illinois, Carl Chriss (Patty) of Freeport, Illinois, Cindy Davis (Robert) of Pearl City, Illinois and Charlene Neilson (Arlan) of Pearl City, Illinois. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and seventeen great-grandchildren.
