She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Dunaway and Mae Dunaway (Coe); her husband Lyle Reed; her daughter Peggy Reed; and her brother Lauren Dunaway.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Cummins (Randy) of Freeport, Barbara Simpson (Dale) of Freeport, Curtis Reed (Molly) of Winslow and Martin Reed of Dakota; and her brothers, Marv Dunaway of Rockford and Al Dunaway (Teresa) of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established in her memory.
