It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Louise Wilson of Dakota, Illinois, who passed away on February 14, 2026, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Kloepping and Florence Kloepping (Stuckey); her spouse Nobel O. Wilson; and her brothers, John "Jack" (Evelyn), Delbert (Wilma) and Gilbert Kloepping.
She is survived by: her children, Gaylon Wilson (Pat) of Freeport and Sandra Mitchell (Kenny) of Dakota; her son-in-law Dennis Buss of Dakota; her sister-in-law Janet Kloepping of Freeport; her grandchildren, Doug Buss (Nina), Diane Buss, Kathy Davis (Greg), Kimberlee Thomas (Kerry), Debbi McLain, Timothy Wilson, Matthew Mitchell (Stephanie) and Annie Stamm (Blaine); her great grandchildren, Leah, Dillon Buss, Michael, Andrew, Ellyn Davis, Ryan Thomas (Danielle), Justin Thomas, Amber Nelson (Neil), Aaliyah Anderson Jacob (Fiancé' Keegen Hodges), Mya Mitchell, Madasyn and Molli Stamm; her great great grandchildren, RaeLynn, Maevynn, Beau Cornelson, Mason, Logan, Laine Thomas, Autumn and Neelian Nelson; her sisters, Vera Notter (Herman) and Lucille Arnsmeier (Rodney); her siblings-in-law, Carol Obert (Orville) and Pete Zink (Evelyn); her daughter Cindy Buss; and her granddaughter Kristin Buss.
A Memorial Fund has been established for Rock River Bible Camp, Dixon, Illinois.
