We announce the death of Doyle Williams of Dale, Illinois, who passed away on June 6, 2026, at the age of 84. Doyle will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Williams and Frances Williams (Wiggins); his wife Annabelle Williams (Hutcheson); his daughter Maria Brand; his grandsons, Gabriel Lakin and Elliott Hielman; and his siblings, Charles Williams and Velma Hutchison.
He is survived by: his children, D. J. Williams and Karen Edwards; his grandchildren, Travis Lakin, Troy Lakin, Crystal Cox, Corissa Cox, Alex Edwards and Monica Brand; and his great grandchildren, Zach Lakin, Mason Lakin, Katie Lakin, Charley Burton, Callan Cox, Frankie Edwards and Ellie Edwards.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to assist with final expenses, and may be made to "Gholson Funeral Home" and will be accepted at the funeral home.
