Kandy Donahue Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kandy Donahue of Dalton City, Illinois, who passed away on November 15, 2025 at the age of 47. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Randy L. Doty and Karen Doty (Hedges) of Decatur; her husband John R. Donahue; her sons, Tyler Hayes of Decatur and Kyle Donahue; her sisters, Kim Doty of Decatur and Kelly Altenbernd (Eric) of Moorhead, MN; her parents-in-law, Richard and Donna Donahue of Decatur; her brother-in-law Thom Donahue (Jana) of Mt. Zion; and her nieces and nephews, Wrigley, Reese, Kayla, Trevor and Alyssa.

Memorials may be made to support a nursing scholarship at Richland Community College. Checks should be made payable to the Richland Community College Foundation with Kandy Donahue Nursing scholarship in the memo line.
