He was predeceased by: his parent Lee Thomas; his former wife Mary Hahn; and his sibling Jerris Taylor. He is survived by: his daughters, Beverly Latinette (John), Charlotte Taylor-Echeverria (Mitziu), Rebecca Pollardo (Dwayne) and Kimberly Berchem (Scott); his grandchildren, Timothy Compton, Catherine Kinsman (Mike), Cody Latinette, Angel Kirkwood, Theresa Kirkwood (Chris), Charlie Taylor (Crystal), Kimberly Golden (John), Lisa Gifford, Ronnie Hansen (SheQuon), Kevin Hansen (Adrianna), Kyle Hansen (Ivette), Jamie Hansen, Kayleigh Berchem and Summer Berchem; his great grandchildren, Mason, Evan, Gavin, Teagan, Mila, Levi, Jade, Chevy, Elizabeth, Natalie, Katelyn, Conley, Kherington, Adam, Alexis, Ammeri, Naomi, Micah, Hannah, Korra, Mavery, Zachary, Alexandria, Peyton, Maverick, Taylor, Amelia, Hazel, Noah and Isiah; his sister Dorothy Locke; his granddaughter Rose M. Compton; and his brother Robert Taylor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials made in memory of Charles may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and will be received at Nordike Funeral Home, 15 E. Hanover St., New Baden, IL 62265 who is serving the family.
