We are sad to announce that, on December 31, 2025, at the age of 85, Dennis Lyle Evelsizer of Danforth, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Evelsizer and Lorene Evelsizer (Johnson); his son Joel Evelsizer; his daughter-in-law Jodi Evelsizer; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Evelsizer and Billy Wilken.
He is survived by: his son Jason Evelsizer of Champaign; his brothers, Darwin Evelsizer of Maryville and Steve; his sister-in-law Linda Sweeney of Manteno; his grandchildren, Mark Evelsizer (Leslie), Leah Evelsizer (Danny Hernandez), Alex Tarter (Kevin) and Morgan Steidinger (Jackson); his daughter-in-law Tammy Tull; and his great grandchildren, Milly, Olivia, Liam, Elliott, Lincoln and Larae.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Forrest or Prairieview Lutheran Home, Danforth.
