He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Carter and Lucille Carter (Foster); and his siblings, Pat Wilson, Sona Hubartt and Bill Carter.
He is survived by: his children, Stacy Edwardson (Derek) and Troy Carter (Emily); his granddaughters, Gracie and Mia Edwardson; his children, Ellie, Indie and Cannon Carter; and his sisters, Eva Carter, Shirley Leibach, Judy Story (Irvin) and Sally Motenko (Mike). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
