We are sad to announce that, on February 14, 2023, at the age of 92, Alford Wayne Johnson of Danville, Illinois, born in Eldorado, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Johnson and Elnora Johnson (Mortz); his former spouses, Minnie Trussel and Beverly Brannin; his wife Sadie Brewer; his close friend June; and his son Alford Johnson Jr..

He is survived by: his children, Cindy Jones (Richard), Penny Evans (Richie), Elnora O'Banion (Jack) and Emery Johnson (Faye); his sister Vickie Vansant; and his close friend Joanne Vance. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; multiple great grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.

Donations may be made in his name to St Jude's Children's Hospital.
