She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arthur Leisch and Otillie Leisch (Lierman); her sister Saundra Carter; her niece Joyce Doss; her husband Donald R. Barnes; her children, Pamela Barnes, Penelope Garrison (Bruce), Dr. Stephen Barnes (Dawn), Thomas Barnes (Karen) and Stuart; her grandchildren, Matthew (Ella), Sarah, Rachel Garrison, Dr. Christopher (Emily), Connor Barnes (Elisa) and Michael Barnes (Jenna); and her sister-in-law Kathleen Wakeley (Robert). She was also cherished by mother to her children.
Memorials may be made in Alice's memory to the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
