He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Baszis and Lucy Gastent Baszis; his siblings, Ted Baszis and Lena Bednar; and his stepson George Harvey.
He is survived by: his former wife Phyllis Zielinski; his children, Benedict Lee Baszis of Arizona, Anthony David Baszis (Jody) of Danville and Rita Lomax (Jerry) of Cayuga, Indiana.; his wife Pauline Harvey; his stepchildren, Frank Harvey (Raeann), Matt Harvey (Tish), Jean Sroufek (Ron), Toni Skinner (Jeff) and Lisa Jones (Jim); and his stepdaughter-in-law Stephanie Harvey. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
