Bette Ann left this world on April 19, 2026 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Opal Hay and Colvin; her husband Dale D. Brown; her siblings-in-law, Perry Brown (Linda) and Pat Furman (Forrest); her granddaughter Jordan Ann Craig; and her close friend Bernard Lewallen.

She is survived by: her children, Bridget Brown and Daniel Brown (Nancy) of Danville, IL; her grandchildren, Sean Craig, Justin Brown (Sierra) and Lindsey Steinbaugh (Max); her great grandchildren, Lydia Steinbaugh and Samson Brown; and her son-in-law Steven Craig (Laurie). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
