She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Shaw and Gertrude Shaw; her husband John Richard Payne; and her grandchildren, Sarah Whitlow (Aaron) and Tristan.
She is survived by: her son John; her daughter-in-law Shelly; her great grandchild Leyton; her daughter Roberta; and her pet Delilah. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made in Darla's name to Trinity United Church of Christ, Westville public library, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
