He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald C. Patterson and Helen Patterson (Stal); his sister Phyllis Golden; and his son James Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Terry; and his children, Shannon Patterson (Bruce Hammer), Clayton Burson Patterson (Jessica Bennetti), Crystal Burson Patterson (Avion Forthenberry), Jared Patterson (Jessie) and Lilyana Patterson. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
