He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommie Edward Davis and Clair Bell Davis (Smith); his daughter Tapria Nicole Reed-Moody; and his siblings, Claretha Davis, Brilla Jean Steele, Shelia Wilson, Tommie Lee Davis and Sammie K. Davis.
He is survived by: his daughter Dolona Crockett of Danville, Illinois; his siblings, Bertha Wright of Saginaw, Michigan, Johnny Davis of Madison and Richard Davis (Jennifer) of Danville, Illinois.; and his nieces, Kellie Steele, Marrisha Davis-Bryant and Valerie Davis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Life Church of Faith (1419 N Bowman Ave, Danville, IL 61832). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
