She was predeceased by: her parents, Margaret Ingram Boyd Smith and Ocie Boyd; her son Steven M. Johnson; her grandchild Pocosso Beasley; and her siblings, Ocie Boyd Jr., Smith Evans Jr., Edward Smith, Susan Parker and Cheryl Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Joe Beasley; her children, Deshon Oliver of Maryland and Pacasso Beasley of Danville, Illinois.; her siblings, Dorsey Boyd (Patricia) of Danville, Clara Boyd of Champaign, Margaret Boyd of Danville, Evelyn Burford (Oliver) of Danville, Larry Boyd (Patricia) of Urbana, Barbara Evans of Danville and Brenda Evans of Danville; and her grandchildren, Melina Johnson, Ebony Johnson, Michael Johnson, Malcom Johnson, Darrion Oliver, TaVon Beasley, Breshawna Beasley, Parashae Beasley, Danisha Beasley Nehemiah Beasley and Pacasso Beasley Jr.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, great-grandchildren, and friends.
