He was predeceased by: his father Floyd E. Dickerson, Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy May Dickerson (Helm) of Decatur, IL.; and his siblings, Stanley P. Dickerson (Teresa) of London, OH and Sharon M. Scarlet of Longview, TX. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
