He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Luke Furr and Georgia Furr (Fleming); his wife Martha Ann Potter; his daughters, Gwen Stutler, Debra Jean Smith and Belinda Jo Park; and his sister Florence Epperson. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Danville.
