She is survived by: her son David Devore (Robin) of Georgetown, IL; her adoptive sons, Brian Moews (Diane) and Mike Offutt (Beth); her grandchildren, Deven Devore (Abby) of Washington, IL, Drew Devore of Saint Louis Park, MN, Mallory Couch (Sam) of Danville, IL, Justin Brown and Melissa Ahmed (Yusef); her great grandchildren, Emma Devore, Max Devore, Drake Devore, Kailyn Devore, Noah Couch, Kendall Couch, Mazie Brown, Milee Devore (Troy), Morgan Brown, Lathan Brown, Devon Brown and Shane Brown; her great great grandchildren, Eddie Romero, Luna Brown and Milee Rose Brown; her close friends, David, Joy Patten, Matt and Shirley Steinbaugh; and her husband Alva Devore, Jr..
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center (3940 N Vermilion St, Danville, IL 61834). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in Evelyn's memory to the Farmer Chapel United Methodist Church, Korean War Veteran Organization or an Autism Charity of the donor's choice.
