With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gene Sprouls (Danville, Illinois), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Gene left this world on November 18, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Audrey Sprouls and Maude Sprouls (Harris); his wife Phyllis Miller; his sons-in-law, Norman Land and Bill Hutson; and his stepdaughter Ronna Snapp.
He is survived by: his daughters, Shari Hutson (Terry Mills) of Georgetown and Gina Buhrmester (Randy) of Milford; his stepchildren, Beth Haven of Blytheville, AR and Larry Grider (Missi) of Georgetown; and his brother Jerry Sprouls of Georgetown. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
