It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Greggory Scott Alpers of Danville, Illinois, who passed away on April 4, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Henry "Hank" and Vivian L. Alpers (Palmer). He is survived by: his wife Arlene Alpers; his children, Stephanie Wilson (Alan) of Danville, IL. and Ryan Alpers of Danville, IL.; his grandchildren, Darrian Chrzanoski (Payton) of Maryland Heights, MO, Dalton Chrzanoski of Tilton, IL, Payton Collins (Jonathan) of Catlin, IL, Mara Alpers of Danville, IL., Gregg and Arlene; his great grandchildren, Emersyn, Anderson, Lennon and A'nyla; and his sister Karen Thomas of Danville, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Greggory's memory to the American Legion State Golf Tournament.
