He is survived by: his daughter Kaylee Ruth of Champaign; his siblings, Kim Nelson (Rufus) of Peoria, IL and Brett Dupree (Carolyn) of Danville; his siblings' children, Terrion Williamson of Chicago, Destinee Dupree of Traverse City, John "Trey" Turner (Tonya) of Champaign, Rufus Nelson Jr. (Brianna) of Peoria and Isaiah Dupree of Melbourne, Florida.; his aunt Mildred Collier of Danville; his uncle Cecil Collier of North Carolina; and his cousin Brenda Brown.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the New Life Church of Faith (1419 N Bowman Ave, Danville, IL 61832). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
