He was predeceased by : his parent Russell; and his siblings, Jeffrey, Red, Dan, Russell, Pam and Linda.

He is survived by : his wife Debora Amos; his children, Amber House (Sevren) and Jeffery Cook; his granddaughter Olivia; and his siblings, Tim Cook, Larry Cook, John Cook, Robert Cook, Tom Cook, Jane Wilson, Peg Barker and Mary Cook. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Edgewood Baptist Church (236 Poland Rd, Danville, IL 61834).
