James Michael Jaruseski Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Michael Jaruseski of Danville, Illinois, who passed away on November 5, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though James Michael may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those James Michael touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jaruseski and Helen Jaruseski (Current); and his siblings, Joseph Jaruseski and Patricia Dunn. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Christine Marie Sheets; his children, Robbie and Ryan Jaruseski; and his brother Jonathan Jaruseski.
A prayer will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center (3940 N Vermilion St, Danville, IL 61834). Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (1303 N Walnut St, Danville, IL 61832).
