With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry DeWitt of Danville, Illinois, who passed away on May 30, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Jerry farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Jerry is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeremiah DeWitt and Helen DeWitt (Drake); and his son Jason. He is survived by: his wife Kathryn Repasy; his brothers, Walter and David; his son Michael DeWitt (Isabel); and his granddaughter Margot. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
