“Melissa, Patrick and family, I knew your Mother for 58 years although I am sad to say we weren't in touch except for letters at Christmas I was shocked to see that Joan had passed recently. I honestly have been thinking about her for several months and had meant to call, text or email and now it's too late. I am so sorry you have lost her - she was a great nurse and person. We worked together at St E Hospital and became friends. So sorry for your loss - take care. Sally Hearnley”
